Elementary Religious Education
St. Marys runs an on-site Religious Education program for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade, teaching the Catholic faith in a manner appropriate to each child's developmental readiness and following a curriculum that builds on the previous year. The children are also helped to develop a relationship with God and a sense of religious community by starting their weekly instructions with a common assembly and by participating in special children's activities and celebrations such as children's Masses. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as catechists, teacher-aides, and substitutes. Classes are held from 8:00-9:00am Sunday morning.

Adult Education
St. Marys realizes the importance of helping its members to grow in their faith and to be sustained by it. With this in mind, in the past two years it has offered the following:
  • Advent and Lenten programs
  • Ongoing formation for parish ministers such as Pastoral visitors to shut-ins, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, altar servers and catechists.
  • Participation in the RCIA offered every year at our sister parish, St. Thomas in Underhill. The RCIA program is the rite of Christian Initiation for Adults who wish to convert to Catholicism or who simply want to renew their Catholic faith.
  • Weekly Bible Study
  • Speakers at St. Marys and St. Thomas who have addressed such topics as spirituality, ecology and social justice.
